The Texas Rangers were awarded the game on November 17, 2022 by Major League Baseball Commissioner Rob Manfred. This will be the second time that the Rangers host the All-Star Game in franchise history. The previous game was the 1995 at The Ballpark In Arlington, which was renamed Globe Life Park, prior to the 2014 season. In addition, this will be the first All-Star Game since 1934 to be hosted by the reigning World Series Champions. The game is scheduled for July 2024.[1]
