The 1982 Arizona Senate election was held on November 2, 1982. Voters elected members of the Arizona Senate in all 30 of the state's legislative districts to serve a two-year term. Primary elections were held on September 7, 1982.[3]
Democratic Senator Richard Kimball did not seek reelection and no other Democrat ran in the district; therefore, it was an automatic pick-up for the Republicans.
